Private medical insurance
Dr Tsang-Wright accepts patients with private medical insurance. Current insurer recognition is published on her PHIN profile and is reviewed periodically — please confirm current status with your insurer or with Dr Tsang-Wright’s PAs before booking.
Self-pay
Self-pay is straightforward and often the simplest option if you do not have private insurance, or if your policy has not been activated in time for a first appointment. Fees are fixed and quoted upfront before any commitment.
Consultation, imaging, biopsy, pathology, and surgery are quoted separately. Typical self-pay services — first consultation, one-stop breast clinic, private mammogram or ultrasound, MRI, core biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, and DIEP flap reconstruction — are all Quoted by Dr Tsang-Wright’s PAs on enquiry once the appointment, hospital, and clinical scope are confirmed. Published fee ranges on PHIN are a useful reference; your written quote may differ by hospital and what is clinically needed on the day.
For surgery, the fee structure is always: surgeon’s fee + anaesthetist’s fee + hospital fee (theatre time, ward stay, drugs, consumables). The practice provides the surgeon’s fee in writing; the anaesthetist quotes separately; the hospital’s international or self-pay coordinator quotes the hospital element. Sarah or Nadiya collate these into a single written quote before any commitment.

Between appointments, you can contact Sarah or Nadiya, Dr Tsang-Wright’s PAs, for follow-up questions — this is a service of the practice, not part of the chargeable consultation fee.
Separate charges apply for imaging, biopsy, pathology, MRI, surgery, and any procedures performed at the hospital.
Payment
Payment for self-pay consultations is taken at the hospital on the day (card or bank transfer). Surgery is invoiced in advance via the hospital booking team.
