Founded in 2020, patients are seen in London and Buckinghamshire at the Women's Health Centre – Harley Street, Women's Health Centre - King's Road, and The Chiltern Hospital, with one-stop imaging and biopsy where clinically appropriate. One surgeon, one care team, consultant-led at every visit — whether you have found a lump, want a second opinion, or are planning continuing care after treatment.
Is this NHS or private?
Private. Breastory is a private practice. But clinical standards mirror NHS specialist care — consultant-led at every appointment, MDT review for complex cases, no open handoffs.
Is there only one surgeon?
Yes. Every consultation and operation is with Dr Tsang-Wright. The surgeon you meet at the first appointment is the surgeon who performs the operation.
What does Breastory treat?
Breast conditions in adults and adolescents. Cancer surgery, reconstruction, benign conditions, one-stop assessment, second opinions, and survivorship follow-up.
The scale is deliberate — a small set of hospitals and established referral paths for reconstructive plastic surgery, oncology, and genetics, not open handoffs. Complex cases are discussed through the multidisciplinary team; investigations that need to happen on the day of a first consultation usually do.
The private practice is kept separate from NHS work in every respect that matters for patient care and governance, and it complements rather than replaces NHS access.
