I was appointed a Consultant Breast and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Bucks Breast Unit at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in 2019, and appointed to the senior management position of Trust Cancer Clinical Director (2021-2024). In addition to my NHS practice, I have consultant practicing privileges at The Chelsea Outpatient Centre on King's Road, The Women's Health Centre on Harley Street, and The Chiltern Hospital in Great Missenden.
I qualified from King's College London in 1998. I undertook postgraduate surgical training mainly in North West London including at Imperial College NHS Trust and the Royal Marsden Hospital, and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2018. In addition to training in the UK, I have worked in institutions in Singapore, UAE and Hong Kong.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal Society of Medicine. I am a member of the UK Association of Breast Surgery and serve on their committees (Education and Training Committee/ International Committee), the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the European Society of Surgical Oncology.
I am committed to medical education, and hold roles as educational supervisor and panel member for the Oxford Deanery Higher Surgical Trainees, a tutor and examiner for the University of Oxford and the University of Buckingham Medical School and an Assistant Professor at St Georges University, Grenada. I regularly attend career events at schools and support the work experience and volunteer programs at my NHS trust.
Outside of work, I enjoy cultural activities such as the theatre, music and exhibitions. I enjoy travel, skiing and spending time with my husband and three children.

This year's campaign theme is #EmbraceEquity and how to create an inclusive world.
Proud to be one of the first units in the UK to use the MagTotal approach for my breast cancer patients; a Magseed is used to mark the cancer and Magtrace (a supra paramagnetic iron oxide dye) marks the lymph glands. This approach is NICE approved.
